Then for my birthday we went over to my parents house and had an amazing bbq. We had all the grandparents and parents there I would post pictures, but there on my parents camera. I do have pictures of some of the awesome gifts:
Eric got my this so I can start practicing. We're thinking of taking up competition shooting.
My parents got me the helmet so Eric and I can ride together! This beautiful weather has made it so we can play outside all the time, so here's Rosco:

Honkey Tonk

This last week was full of events: Thursday we fixed our mailbox, so instead of it falling off all the time it's good to go:

Then Saturday Morning We went shooting up at Shelberg. I swear it had been over 8 months.
We went with our friends Emily and Kurt:
Then we had rodeo tickets that I won of the rodeo so we headed over to the Benton County Fairgrounds:
Unfortunately Eric is allergic to horses and so he had to leave before it even started. I think we'll have to visit an outdoor arena next time so he can actually watch the rodeo. Then yesterday we had a big family gathering Melissa and Ju-el came down and Lacy came into town. I did not take any pictures of that although I should have. Blessing: Being able to pay the bills.

Pictures Finally!

I have decided that I can't blog everyday. First of all I'm not that interesting, and second I don't have the time! But I did take some pictures and I'm so excited to show you them:

I can't get that to rotate, but that's the view when you look out my back door.
That's the side and you can really notice that the lawn has been mowed! That's right people it stopped raining enough to run a lawn mower through the grass!
Here are the abundance of eggs our chickens have been laying. We have three chickens and we usually get three eggs a day, every once in a while just 2 but mostly three! Also if you notice, the bag in front of the eggs ironically has chicken in it! Now on to the last, but best pictures:
ROSCO!!!!!! Have a great weekend and enjoy the balmy 63 degree weather!

Dancing Queen!

I miss dancing! I see all these single activities and youth activity dances and I know that the music will be awful and the decorations will be sparse, but I can’t help but miss them. They were fun and freeing and despite the fact that my dancing moves were similar to the man off of Hitch I always had a blast. I went to the ward dance a couple months ago, but it was more catered to the older people in the ward. Slow dancing nothing fast except the swing dancing. You would think that since Mormons get married so young they would have more young married activities to go to. Oh well.
Anyways still working on getting the living room ready for the complete makeover this weekend. Hopefully it goes well and were able to get everything done. I have been working out every night this week except last night. Last night I got off work, visit taught, went to mutual, then came home and went to get. Talk about long day, but being busy keeps you out of trouble.
Things I’ve realized since I started blogging. I take absolutely no pictures! Putting that on my list of things to do.
Blessing of the couple days: Finally got all the construction career day people called big relief!

Marriage

Yesterday we worked out for the first time in ages like went to the gym workout not swimming. It felt amazing! I also worked on homework and we discussed a ten week plan for our lives. Hopefully we can get it all done.

We also worked on the living room. We cleaned it out to get ready to paint and upgrade. It is semi refreshing to get stuff going.
Has any ever read and done the book “the love dare”? I got the book and we’ve been semi going through it. So far I enjoy it although it is pretty corny.

Blessing of the Day: Afternoon of Sunshine!

Weekend Fun!

So this last weekend Eric’s Mom and Grandpa invited us up to Portland to go to Wheel of Fortune. It was fun to watch! Ironically they were interviewing contestants at Chinook Winds Casino when we had the Exchange banquet there last fall. Then we headed over to Amanda’s house for her birthday party. It was nice to see some friends that we haven’t seen in a while.
Sunday was a pretty lazy day. Watched conference, cleaned house, did laundry the usual stay at home activities. I was trying to get everything super prepped so we had a smooth transition back into school. That’s right school starts this week for the first time I’m not really excited. I usually get excited at the first of the semester for a sort of new beginning, but I’m just dreading this term, and I’m actually taking interesting classes. With the start of the term comes a better routine, so hopefully that will help me to keep on track exercising throughout the week. I’ve decided I want to try to lose weight. I’m going to start with a twenty pound goal just because if I used the whole number it would be daunting. My plan is to make lunches the night before and try to get up early enough to have breakfast every morning so I don’t snack on junk at work. I also read about a beginning running program, where you just start with one minute for one day, two minutes for two days, three for three etc. I want to try the program this week just because the thought of running for one minute doesn’t sound terrible, but the thought of running for 20 or 30 off and on sounds exhausting. Hopefully it will up my motivation to do it. Blessing for the weekend: being able to spend the whole weekend hanging out with my husband.

New Blog

So I think this blog will be a totaly record of everything going on in my/our lives. In the past I have had seperate ones for each thing, but it got overwhelming and this time I think it will be much easier.
If you don't know me a little about me:
-Work full time in the construction industry, but am still going to college
-Married 2.5 years to the love of my life and couldn't be happier
-Have an awesome dog named Rosco who you will see frequently
-Just bought a house in my home town down the road from my oldest friend
-Raising 3 chickens who are laying like crazy
-Live close to Eric and I's parents so we frequently visit both
-Mormon or member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
Hopefully this blog will help me to remember to take pictures of our lives. Eric and I don't have a pictures since our 1st anniversary. (picture above)
